Iron Dog Schutzhund Dog Club Trial: February 27th, 2010
BH
All dogs must pass the BH ("Begleithund" - Traffic Steady Companion Dog) Test before competing for Tracking, Obedience or Schutzhund titles. The test is a combination of on- and off-leash obedience plus putting the dog into various situations to test its reaction to strange people, dogs, noises and sights. The following dogs passed their BH at this trial:

Luke with Carlos Manresa, Sr and
judge Ann Marie Chaffin

Dugan with Jason McNew asking
for directions during the traffic phase

Dalen with Louise Ballinger

Zeli with Anita Gard

Yuri with Curtis Brantley

BH handlers with judge Ann Marie Chaffin
OB1
The OB1 consists of the Obedience portion of the SchH1 title. It involves off-leash heeling, dumbbell retrieves, sit and down while in motion, and a long (10+ minutes) down without the handler. This is Alona with Jason McNew.
SchH3
The Schutzhund 3 is the highest of the full Schutzhund titles. The dog must pass all three phases: Tracking, Obedience and Protection.
